What happens after you submit
We read what you sent and get back to you, usually within a couple of business days, to arrange a time to see your floors. We look at them in person, tell you what they need, and give you a real number. You are never on the hook for anything by requesting a quote.
How we quote
The quote is free and there is no cost for the visit. We price the work the floor actually needs: if a recoat will do, a recoat is what we quote. If the job turns out bigger than you expected, we will explain why before anything is booked, and if the floor has no wear layer left we will tell you that instead of selling you a sand-back it cannot survive.
What to have ready
- Roughly how many rooms, or the approximate square footage.
- Roughly when the house was built, and what wood the floors are if you know.
- Anything you have noticed: dullness, scratches, stains, gaps between boards, or edges lifting.
- Whether the floor has been refinished before, if you have any way of knowing.
- Whether you want to keep the current colour or change it.
